10,000 Degrees Celebrates ‘ONE Amazing Community’ At Annual Gala Benefiting Bay Area Students

‘ONE Amazing Community’ Fundraising Gala On Saturday, April 27, 2024, At The Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael

San Rafael, Calif. (March 7, 2024)10,000 Degrees, an organization dedicated to unlocking student success at scale by giving more students equitable opportunities for a quality college education and career success, will host its annual fundraising gala, ONE Amazing Community, on Saturday, April 27 at the Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. 

The ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala celebrates and recognizes the contributions of many in the community who have played a role in helping achieve educational equity and in supporting students from low-income backgrounds to fulfill their dreams of becoming college graduates.  

Proceeds from the ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will benefit students and programs across the eight Bay Area counties that 10,000 Degrees serves.

Guests attending the 10,000 Degrees ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will enjoy a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, an inspirational program featuring special guests, and Fund-a-Future live auction, followed by a festive after-party featuring a silent disco.

“For over 40 years, 10,000 Degrees has focused on achieving educational equity, and because of the efforts of so many in our community, we are making great strides towards that goal,” said Kim Mazzuca, 10,000 Degrees president and CEO. “10,000 Degrees has helped more than 59,000 students graduate from college and has awarded more than $104.7 million in scholarships. The ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will be an opportunity to honor our community’s outstanding contributions, perseverance, and commitment, which have allowed us to achieve our goals and transform the lives of so many students.”
