If you are awarded a 10,000 Degrees scholarship, our support doesn’t end with a check! From day one to graduation day, scholarship recipients may receive one-to-one support from our trained Fellows, who provide connection to resources and ongoing mentorship both on and off campus during your entire college journey.
If you are the first in your family to go to college and have questions, or just need personalized support, our teams are here to guide you throughout your college experience so you can realize all of your academic goals.
Our Fellows provide office hours and support on campus at our partner schools or virtually for those attending schools outside the Bay Area or at a non-partner campus. Our campus teams also partner with existing student services (such as on-campus learning communities, academic counselors, and financial aid and transfer departments) to create a pipeline of support for students.
Community College Success
Our Fellows are strategically placed on six Bay Area community college campuses—City College of San Francisco, College of Marin, Santa Rosa Junior College, Napa Valley College, Contra Costa College, and Evergreen Valley College—to provide you with 1:1 and virtual office hours and support for succeeding in community college, or with the transfer process to a four-year institution. If you decide to transfer, 10,000 Degrees continues to support you until your graduation day.
As a 10,000 Degrees scholarship recipient, our Fellow can support you with:
Virtual and/or in-person check-ins
“Success Starts Here” day-long orientation for new students
