Train the Trainers Workshop

We hold “Train the Trainers” workshops to present best practices, resources, and help partner schools learn in an interactive community space, where sharing learnings and experiences with one another is encouraged.

Previous topics include:

  • Best Practices for Supporting Financial Aid Completion
  • Best Practices for Supporting Students who are Undocumented or Newly Arrived
  • Best Practices for Supporting Students with Financial Aid Offer Letters
  • Career Success Programming for Students

Who Should Attend?

Train the Trainers Workshops are open to educators and individuals who are interested in learning best practices for supporting students from low-income backgrounds, students who are undocumented, or first-generation college students. Workshop attendees typically are:

  • Aspiring or current educators/teachers
  • Academic, college/career counselors
  • School & district administrators & school support staff
  • District & high school family liaisons
  • District homeless/foster youth support teams & social workers
  • Community-based organizations
