Bay Area Community Resources

I serve as an After School Program Coordinator and Athletic Director at Venetia Valley TK–8 School, where I oversee programs that serve more than 200 students each day. I lead a team of instructors and coaches, many of whom are first- and second-year college students, and mentor them as they develop leadership and professional skills. In my role as an Afterschool Program Coordinator, I collaborate with community partners, such as America Scores, to provide underprivileged students with access to enrichment opportunities. As Athletic Director at Venetia Valley, I coordinate the middle school sports teams and believe athletics is a powerful way to teach leadership, resilience, and confidence. In my spare time, I coach soccer at San Rafael High School, my alma mater, as a way of giving back to the community that shaped me. In the Summer of 2024, I launched a summer program that recruits high school students from San Rafael and Terra Linda to work as summer camp instructors, giving them early employment opportunities and a pathway to explore careers in education. As a first-generation college graduate, I strive to build programs that help youth thrive academically, socially, and personally. Programs like 10,000 Degrees have inspired me to become a contributing member of my community and mentor the next generation of leaders. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, building LEGO sets, and keeping up with my favorite sports team: FC Barcelona.
