Ivan Macedonio

I’m Ivan Macedonio, an immigrant who arrived at age two with few answers and a lot of hope. With support from 10,000 Degrees, I reached UC Merced and graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Management and Business Economics. I now support Sonoma County’s underserved communities through practical, culturally relevant business consulting. I’ve worked alongside over 500 local businesses to improve cash flow, refine pricing, obtain permits, clean up bookkeeping, and build lender-ready files. Many felt invisible or stuck in the shadows; together we formalize, simplify next steps, and build momentum. I helped my own family launch businesses—and started mine—achieving milestones I once thought out of reach. I’m proud to serve a community that deserves to be seen. Beyond work, you’ll find me watching sports, fishing, camping, and with family. I measure success by doors opened, confidence gained, and owners thriving. I’m honored to be a 2025 Alumni Changemakers semi-finalist.
