Current Profession
Huckleberry House Program Director
Huckleberry Youth Programs

I am a Program Director at Huckleberry Youth Programs, where I oversee Huckleberry House, a youth shelter providing safety and support for young people in crisis.

Originally from Mexico City and raised in Marin County, I grew up deeply aware of the stark socio-economic disparities in my community. As a low-income immigrant family living in Corte Madera, these experiences shaped my commitment to advocacy and social justice.

I earned my Sociology degree from UC Santa Cruz in 2022 and now lead with empathy and lived experience, ensuring youth in the Bay Area have access to the care, dignity, and opportunities they deserve.

I envision a future where all young people feel seen, safe, and empowered to thrive. I currently live in San Francisco and enjoy reading, attending community events, and spending time with loved ones.
