After my first semester, I was unsure if I wanted to continue pursuing college. The cost of textbooks was overwhelming for me, but thankfully, 10,000 Degrees helped me manage those costs and discover resources on campus.
Attending college was challenging at first, especially because I had to take time away from my job. But the impact has been positive overall. Now my brothers also want to go to college! I’m determined to become an immigration lawyer and help families facing immigration-related issues.
I believe in the power of education to change lives because the more you know, the more you can do, it gives you options, confidence, and the power to take control of your future.
