10,000 Degrees Celebrates 2023 ‘ONE Amazing Community’ Gala Benefiting Bay Area Students

‘ONE Amazing Community’ Gala To Be Held On Saturday, April 29, 2023 At The Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael

“San Rafael, Calif. (March 10, 2023) – 10,000 Degrees, an organization dedicated to empowering students to enter and graduate college in eight Bay Area counties, hosts its annual fundraising gala, ONE Amazing Community, on Saturday, April 29 at the Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael. Proceeds from the gala will benefit students and programs in all eight Bay Area counties that 10,000 Degrees serves.”

The ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala celebrates and recognizes the contributions of many in the community who have played a role in helping achieve educational equity and in supporting students from low-income backgrounds to fulfill their dreams of becoming college graduates. Guests attending the 10,000 Degrees annual ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will enjoy a cocktail reception, a seated dinner and a program featuring special guests, performances, and inspirational stories, followed by a festive after-party.

“Since 1981, 10,000 Degrees alumni have proven how a college degree can change the course of their lives and communities,” said Kim Mazzuca, 10,000 Degrees president and CEO. “The ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the difference 10,000 Degrees has made on the lives of thousands of students, and an occasion to honor the efforts of so many in our community whose amazing contributions and hard work help us reach our goals year after year.”
