As a first-generation college graduate, I have spent the last 15 years dedicating my career to serving my community by helping vulnerable populations gain access to safer neighborhoods and essential resources. In my current role with the Santa Rosa Fire Department, I provide prevention and emergency preparedness information in both English and Spanish to more than 170,000 residents. My mission is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their language or socio-economic background, has the knowledge and tools they need in order to stay safe and informed.
