What makes 10,000 Degrees unique is our deep investment in students’ career journeys, and our understanding of how a college degree connects someone to not just a job, but a career with economic mobility. Our Career Success Program demonstrates how educational equity supports financial prosperity, leading individuals to secure meaningful work that can support their future personal and professional goals—something we all deserve, but many lack access to.
I’m immensely proud of the work that my colleagues and I do on the Career Success team. By developing a robust career development program, our holistic approach truly impacts our students and alumni. It always makes my day when a student shares that they have been selected for an internship or job—this is what it’s all about—helping students launch their careers.
By engaging with our community, employers, and corporate partners, we’re not only achieving our goals—we’re creating supportive environments where our students can thrive. Our students are talented, curious, and driven, and it’s a privilege to support them along their professional pathways. When I reflect on their potential as future leaders, it makes me hopeful for a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
