Jenny Scholarship Fund

The Jenny Scholarship Fund, administered by 10,000 Degrees, is available to students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the areas of teaching, medical or mental health, or environmental sustainability.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Priority given to individuals referred by or involved with: LakeFarm Learning, The Elmore Bolling Initiative and The Union Church of Waban.
  • If adequate applicant pool isn’t identified by above organizations, the pool will expand to individuals living in:
    • Lowndes County, AL
    • Greater Boston Area, MA
    • San Francisco Bay Area, CA
  • Priority given to individuals who have any of the following characteristics:
    • Are from low-income backgrounds
    • Have been in the foster care system
    • Face housing challenges
    • Are refugees (especially from Ukraine or Kenya)
    • Are building a life after release from incarceration
    • From a minority racial or ethnic group
