Jenny Scholarship Fund
The Jenny Scholarship Fund, administered by 10,000 Degrees, is available to students who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the areas of teaching, medical or mental health, or environmental sustainability.
Eligibility Requirements
- Priority given to individuals referred by or involved with: LakeFarm Learning, The Elmore Bolling Initiative and The Union Church of Waban.
- If adequate applicant pool isn’t identified by above organizations, the pool will expand to individuals living in:
- Lowndes County, AL
- Greater Boston Area, MA
- San Francisco Bay Area, CA
- Priority given to individuals who have any of the following characteristics:
- Are from low-income backgrounds
- Have been in the foster care system
- Face housing challenges
- Are refugees (especially from Ukraine or Kenya)
- Are building a life after release from incarceration
- From a minority racial or ethnic group
The priority deadline for the 10,000 Degrees Scholarship application for the 2025-26 school year is March 3, 2025.
