Growing up in San Rafael, California, I experienced firsthand the barriers and inequities that marginalized communities face every day. Those experiences shaped my path in public health and continue to fuel my commitment to breaking down barriers and creating healthier, more equitable communities.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Public Health from CSU East Bay. My career has spanned government, nonprofit, and healthcare settings, where I have advocated for underserved communities through program implementation, community outreach, health education, and quality improvement.
As a Quality Assurance and Improvement Project Manager at Marin Community Clinics, I manage improvement projects focused on patient outcomes, satisfaction, access, and organizational efficiency. I analyze data, develop patient outreach campaigns, and create tools that improve access to care.
Beyond my career, I remain involved with community-based organizations, county initiatives, and resident-led efforts to create lasting change. Ten years ago, I could not have imagined being where I am today. 10,000 Degrees invested in my future and helped make my dreams feel within reach. That investment changed the trajectory of my life. Today, I strive to pay it forward by using my voice, experience, and opportunities to create pathways for others.
